The summary of use of Mentimeter

TOOLS
What I have learned from class or my colleges or friends
How I can use it in my classroom
Reflection
Polling (Mentimeter)
Create questions (open question and multiple choice questions)--- present---showing the QR code for scanning
Go5 student feedback on the quality of my teaching (to find out what do students  like, what don't like and students’ suggestion)
In the future, I thought this tool can also be used to get feedback from parents.
Since it is carried out anonymously,
Students give their real ideas and that really help me decide what to keep and change for future teaching.  ---continue using
Polling (Mentimeter)
This time I create questions before having classes and show questions at the beginning and the end.
Checked students’ background knowledge of a certain topic (a quiz about some information of the Earth) at the beginning.

Checked students’ understanding and comprehension of what has been taught towards the end of a class (every one contributes one idea on how we can do to protect the Earth)

Ss were exciting about this way of having a quiz and became exciting throughout the lesson. ---continue using
Polling (Mentimeter)
create questions before having classes and show questions during class
Used polling to brainstorm in a reading lesson (write down any words about trees as a check of students’ homework)
Increase students’ engagement. In addition, every student has a chance to express their voice, even those who are shy to speak or slow in their response.
Polling (Mentimeter)
create questions before having classes and show questions during class
Use polling to review what has been taught at the beginning of a class or in a revision lesson (e.g. check students’ understanding of what has been taught, such as vocabulary, language points or sentence structures)
